Hi! Uh…I’m new-ish to the fandom.

I’ve been interested in the Moomins for about a year, and like other stuff, I pretty much forgot about it; and a few days ago I just happened to find a Moomins comic book at a book store!

I love the 90’s show way too much, and I’ve made two (meme-ish) videos using clips from it.

For some reason the Finnish character names are listed before the original names. I would edit it myself but I just made this account so I don't think I should make any large edits.

(Swedish is the original language, in my opinion it's weird to have a translated name as the first)

I found out, that you need admin rights to edit the navigation bar. The only admin here was Spacepigeon, who was last active in 2020. It is possible to adopt a wiki at the community central, but I won't be the one.

I know its used in swedish, or atleast is in snufkins name, but is it ever officially in english? in the english books snufkin is a species and the joxter is just kinda a joxter

How the characters know the Water Nymph was just an illusion for the men because the women could not see the Water Nymph and not invisible for the women? The characters never even think and mentioning about that the Water Nymph probably was invisible for the women?

Should we revive here?

I have created a Moomin fanon wiki

I haven't read the books or watched the adaptations (besides Moominvalley), by the way. I keep seeing fanarts of Joxter with a tail and yet, I don't see any tail on any official art of the Joxter. Does Joxter have a tail or is it just a fanon thing?

I've seen a lot of people say Tove Jansson disliked the portrayal of Snufkin in the 1969 anime, I've tried searching for this but get no results. Does anyone have a source of this?
