Northern Lights is a song performed by the Danish singer-songwriter Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen (known professionally as MØ), and the Danish songwriter and musician Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen (also known as Goss). It was written by Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted and Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen, and produced by Tobias Laust and Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen. It was uploaded to YouTube on 18th April 2019 and officially released on the 19th April 2019 as part of the Moominvalley (Official Soundtrack).
Northern Lights features in the eleventh episode of the 2019 Moominvalley television series: Ghost Story, playing throughout the credits.
MØ and Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen are currently in a relationship and often work together on songs. MØ also performs the theme song for Moominvalley: Theme Song (I'm Far Away), which features in every episode.
