Little My (Swedish: Lilla My, Finnish: Pikku Myy) is one of the protagonists in the Moomin anime series from 1990-92.
History[]
The Mymble Residence, where Little My lives.
She lives in the The Mymble Residence with her sister Mymble. Prior to the series start, Little My stayed in the Moominhouse and went and slept through the winter there, as Mymble was not home.

The Moomin Valley in Spring[]
Little My is first seen sleeping in her bed in the Moominhouse during winter. As spring arrives she is awoken by Moomin as he shouts in joy the arrival of spring. As Moomin runs down stairs Little My confronts him about this and explains that she had a nice dream where she lived in a watermelon. Moomin explains himself by saying that Little My told Moomin before they went for their winter sleep that Little My asked Moomin to wake her up on the first they of Spring, which she struggles to remember. Moomin also says that her sister, the Mymble, will probably return home soon. Just then Moominmamma enters the hallway. Little My says she is hungry and asks if she has any watermelon, to which Moominmamma says that she doesn't and that she will start making breakfast, not including watermelon. Little My and Moomin then hears Snufkin's harmonica and Little My heads down stairs while Moomin runs up and out trough his window. As they meet outside, Little My comments that the stairs are faster, but Moomin says his window is more fun. As they run towards Snufkin, Little My says she will go see if her Sister has arrived and heads to her house.
Little My later meets up with Moomin, Snufkin, Sniff and Snorkmaiden on the Moominhouse veranda discussing the Snork's Flying Ship, to which Little My is skeptical about. She the comments on Sniffs eating habits, as pink clouds starts to come out of the house. She and the others decide to jump on them and fly around. She and Sniff has a competition, by flying into each other until one falls off: Little My wins. As the clouds start to disappear, Little My is disappointed as she was not done playing with it.
Afterwards the five friends decide to play hide-and-go-seek. Little My decides to hide in a pot in Moominamma's kitchen and scares Sniff as he finds her. She was the second to last to be found, as Moomin was not yet found. Everyone speculates on where Moomin could be, as they start to hear laughter coming from the large hat Moomin found in The Lonely Mountains earlier. Moomin come out, transformed into a creature and everyone wonders who he is. Little My watches on as Moomin starts to panic and Moominmamma arrives, being confronted by the transformed Moomin. Moominmamma recognizes him and he turns back into Moomin. Little My is last seen with everyone looking at the magic hat.

Trivia[]
- In the original stories by Tove Jansson, Little My is the older half-sister of Snufkin. This is not the case in the anime, as they are not related at all and in one episode Little My even shows romantical interest in Snufkin.
