Moomins house

The Moominhouse as seen in the anime.

Moominhouse (Swedish: Muminhuset) is a fictional house, where the Moomins live in the tales by Finnish author Tove Jansson. Its tall, round shape is said to be based upon the porcelain stoves behind which the Moomins' ancestors used to live.

In Moominpappa's Memoirs it's revealed that the Moominhouse originally was the navigation hut on Oshun Oxtra, though after years of rebuilding, renovating and expanding the house, there are few traces of the original base left.
