Moominsummer Maddness is a 2014 puppet show based on the novel by the same name by Tove Jansson that ran in the Polka Theatre from May 22nd, 2014 to June 1, 2014.[1]
Synopsis[]
Moominsummer Madness is a show that uses that uses puppetry and music to bring the Moomin story to life on stage. When a huge flood sweeps through Moominvalley...the Moomins find a exciting home. A floating Theater! But why is there a door on the floor? Why does the scenery keep changing? And where does Moomintroll, Little My, and Snorkmaiden disappear to? As strange things start to happen it seems the only way... to bring the family back together is to put on a play! In the story we will meet Moominpapa, Moominmama, Misabel, the Hemulen Policemen, Moomintroll's best friend Snufkin, and even a stage manager called Emma the rat! We hope you enjoy the play. [2]
